Loyal 9 Development played a pivotal role in the transformation of the Forever Homestead: Community Center, a project integral to Homesteads for Hope’s mission. The 6,500 square foot renovation and addition, meticulously carried out by Loyal 9, skillfully combined residential warmth with necessary commercial standards, including fire safety and ADA compliance.

The scope of work was comprehensive, encompassing demolition, site work, masonry, and rough carpentry, all executed with precision. Key elements included the removal of the existing chimney and shower, excavation for the rear basement and sunroom additions, and the construction of new foundation systems and walk-out basement egress. Loyal 9’s expert team managed complex structural elements like CMU foundation systems, concrete block, and waterproofing, ensuring durability and functionality.

The project’s success hinged on Loyal 9’s effective project management, seamlessly integrating the historic charm of the building with modern requirements. This involved framing the rear two-story addition, sunroom, and new porch in line with architectural designs and local codes. Their ability to adapt and mirror the first-floor framing design for the second floor exemplified their problem-solving acumen.
